I’m committed to using media and technology to help make education engaging and accessible for all, especially via the world wide web.
education
I went to Macaulay Honors College at Queens College where I majored in Honors Media Studies and minored in Animation/Illustration, Writing, and Business and Liberal Arts. During my time there, I had the opportunity to critically examine and dissect the complexities of our current media landscape with an intersectional and interdisciplinary lens.
My fascination with the internet and education stems from my experiences studying software, web development, art, and music theory online. Over the years, I’ve gained a great deal of experience in subjects like:

Tigerland is an audio-visual thesis on the role media and technology play on our social, political and economic realities. My objective is to use innovative media to make critical thinking and social responsibility more engaging and appealing.
I’ll Be Gone,
You’ll Be Gone
An album I recorded after having a visceral response to learning about the injustices at Abu Ghraib and the causes of the 2008 Financial Crisis.
My goal was to promote discussions around accountability, responsibility and humanity by framing issues and emotions through an aesthetic of spiritual/technological dystopia (e.g. Brave New World, 1984, The Handmaids Tale).

A song about the limits of computers, algorithms and AI, and conversely, their far reaching influence.

This song is about financial barriers to higher education and as a consequence, economic mobility.
BRAVE NEW WORLD
A song inspired by the social/political apathy emphasized in the novel after which it’s named.

A take on the code “IBGYBG”, used by bankers when making harmful choices for which they know they can avoid all accountability.

A Kids’ Guide To Cancer
A short I animated to help explain chemotherapy treatment to families and patients dealing with pediatric cancer. I plan to expand this as an positive multimedia resource families can use to understand treatment and specific cancers.

I make animations and short films as part of a small production company called tigerland tv.
