I’m committed to using media and technology to help make education engaging and accessible for all, especially via the world wide web.
education
I went to Macaulay Honors College at Queens College where I majored in Honors Media Studies and minored in Animation/Illustration, Writing, and Business and Liberal Arts. During my time there, I had the opportunity to critically examine and dissect the complexities of our current media landscape with an intersectional and interdisciplinary lens.
My fascination with technology and education stems from my experiences studying software, web development, art, and music theory online.

I’m asking educators to tag words from an established age-of-acquisition dataset by what learners need (e.g. social connection and identity, access, academic success, or everyday survival).

The New Absurdist is a highly collaborative space where artists and writers are encouraged to share their deepest (often most vulnerable) parts of themselves. Our team is comprised of dedicated volunteers who facilitate this process to ensure our community is safe and constructive.
Other Projects
A Kids’ Guide To Cancer
A short I animated to help explain chemotherapy treatment to families and patients dealing with pediatric cancer. I hope to expand this as a positive multimedia resource families can use to understand treatment and specific cancers.
Trans-Guanyin
As Armaan Tagore, I performed and screened a short film at Trans-Guanyin, an art exhibition in Treasure Hill curated by students in the Studies of Arts and Creative Industries program (SAC) at Taipei National University of The Arts (TNUA). I also designed the website for the exhibition.
Tigerland
Tigerland is a dance-punk project I made inspired by the 2008 Financial Crisis and the 2003 War on Iraq. The website I designed for it is based on the bonzi virus and stylized to look like the Windows 95 OS. It is a satire of marketing and hyper-capitalism

I make animations and short films as part of a small production company called tigerland tv.
