mission statement
I’m committed to using media and technology to help make education engaging and accessible for all, especially via the world wide web.
education
I went to Macaulay Honors College at Queens College where I majored in Honors Media Studies and minored in Animation/Illustration, Writing, and Business and Liberal Arts. During my time there, I had the opportunity to critically examine and dissect the complexities of our current media landscape with an intersectional and interdisciplinary lens.
My fascination with the internet and education stems from my experiences studying software, web development, art, and music theory online. Over the years, I’ve gained a great deal of experience in subjects like:

theorytools
a web app full of interactive tools and resources I’m building for musicians to practice essential music theory concepts like chords, scales and intervals. (coming soon)

musical Freedom For Everyone
Built to help beginners and experts get where they want to go.
Geared For Personal Goals
Designed to be as configurable as possible to help users study what they want, how they want.
A Resource For Teachers
Teachers can easily create and share exercises with their students.

THE NEW ABSURDIST
A volunteer run online publication I co-founded with the mission to be a space for the creative, the curious, and the unapologetically passionate to engage in educated discourse and promote positive growth in the world.
the personal is political
Our goal is to publish art and writing connected to lived experiences and larger social and political structures – we believe we make an impact when we share stories and talk about what matters to us.

judging a book by it’s cover
As part of our commitment to providing a platform to underrepresented groups, we illustrate covers for Editors’ Picks to help highlight what we find special about the piece in a way that amplifies the author’s voice.
fueled by love
The New Absurdist is a highly collaborative space where artists and writers are encouraged to share their deepest (often most vulnerable) parts of themselves. Our team is comprised of dedicated volunteers who facilitate this process to ensure our community is safe and constructive.
